We collect what you give us: account details, the quotes/projects you create, photos you upload.
We don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers.
Your AsyncStorage data lives on your device; cloud sync (optional) backs it up to our server.
You can delete your account and your data any time by emailing care@abseco.in.
1. Who we are
Abseco Connect (the “App”) is operated by Abseco International Private Limited, an Indian smart-home manufacturer based in Kerala. References to “Abseco”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy mean Abseco International Private Limited.
2. What we collect
Account information
Name, email, phone number, role (dealer / electrician / customer / admin), and the password hash (not the password itself) you provide when you sign up.
Business records you create
Invoices, quotes, BOQs, expenses, client records, projects and site assessments are stored on your device. If you enable Cloud Sync, copies are uploaded to our servers for backup and cross-device access.
Content you publish
Posts, comments and project photos you publish to the public Feed or Projects sections are stored on our servers and visible to other users according to the audience you select.
Technical information
The App's API requests pass through our infrastructure; standard server logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp, user-agent) are kept for security and debugging for up to 30 days.
3. What we do NOT collect
We do not track your location.
We do not access your contacts, microphone, or camera unless you use a feature that does (e.g. project photo capture).
We do not embed third-party advertising trackers.
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
4. How we use your data
To provide the App's features (sign-in, sync, posts, etc.).
To respond to support requests.
To detect abuse (rate-limiting, spam detection).
To send you transactional emails relevant to your account (password reset, order confirmation, etc.).
5. Where your data lives
Your account and content are stored on servers operated by us in India. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, hashed credentials at rest). Backups are retained for 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can:
Access your data — email us to request an export.
Correct anything inaccurate in your profile from the Settings screen.
Delete your account and all associated data by writing to care@abseco.in. We process deletion requests within 7 working days.
Withdraw consent for cloud sync at any time (Settings → Data Management).
7. Children
The App is intended for users 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify users through the App and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance.
